PROACTIVE COMMUNITIES

THE MISSION:

Parenting support should be available to all parents, regardless of socioeconomic, cultural, or geographical location.

Author and children's advocate Christina Ivazes is obtaining donations to provide copies of The New Physics of Childhood for local libraries and low-income parenting programs to give parents more support and to local rehabilitation programs, to prepare inmates for a healthier reconnection with their children upon re-entry into society.

PROACTIVE COMMUNITIES
is based on this philosophy:

In order to make significant changes in our outcomes, we need to start at the beginning, with our communities. That means more support for healthy parenting solutions!

All donations will be made in the name of the donating party and delivered with a proper donation sticker with donor's name inside each book.

Donors will be sent a confirmation of receipt from the organization upon delivery of the donated books. Tax deduction information from receiving organizations will be included in confirmation letter or fax to the donor by the author.

All book donations will be sold at cost.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN

PROACTIVE COMMUNITIES?

1. If you would like to participate in your community, please fill in the Contact page and write organization name, program, contact person & phone number in the comment section. Indicate whether you are requesting a speaker to come to talk about The New Physics of Childhood & the Proactive Communites program, or whether you are making an online donation. (If donating online, include the number of books you are pledging to donate as well and a link for your organization or organization of choice.)

2. When you receive your confirmation email and donation code, go to the Products page and purchase your donation with the code for the wholesale discount. (Although the current $14.95 is the 'at cost' price, so discount code is not necessary at this time.) Specify address of organization to have your book/books shipped directly.
