Experience as it relates to children: I am the eldest of five, the mother of three grown daughters and the grandmother of seven. I have been a married stay-at-home mom and also a struggling, working single mother. I had two homebirths, and have attended the births of six of my grandchildren. I have been a babysitter, nanny, pre-school teacher, after-school program teacher, junior high and high school teacher, nutrition/stress management educator, and community organizer of youth. I have been involved with the lives of children all over the world.
Advocating for those who don’t have a voice is the strongest thread of my fabric, especially children, teens, the elderly and immigrant populations.
The Chamelea Productions business model: Based on advocacy for the unmet needs of the individual and family unit as well as assisting in the support of a balanced family system. Because the family unit is a broadly encompassing subject area, my services are also broad. I pride myself on adaptability and the ability to handle a variety of situations and family environments. I am also committed to a healthy, environmentally responsible lifestyle and incorporate these principles wherever I can in ways that are easy for families to implement as they see fit.
The book: THE NEW PHYSICS OF CHILDHOOD is filled with the many lessons I have learned from both formal and personal training, and from the hundreds, if not thousands of children, adolescents and adults I have been blessed to connect with in my life. It is a philosophy that has evolved from all of the above experiences. I feel like the luckiest person alive to be able to share what I know with whomever is open to receiving it.
Most Gratefully,
